GitHub has made Anthropic's Claude Haiku 5.5 generally available across GitHub Copilot, including the Copilot app, CLI, and code. The model is designed for fast, high-volume tasks such as subagents and quick edits.
Artificial Analysis scored Claude Haiku 5.5 at 43, up 26 points from the previous Haiku, and reported a 1 million token context window. Its results also cover token use, terminal tasks, factual accuracy, and an AutomationBench score the firm says is likely understated.
Arena.ai has added Anthropic's Claude Haiku 5.5 to Agent Arena and Code Arena across WebDev, Text, Document, and Vision, with benchmark evaluation scores coming soon.
