deepagents now supports loading tools dynamically when a skill is loaded. Harrison Chase says some skills require specific tools that do not always need to be available, and the feature lets those tools be paired with the skills that use them.

With OpenAI and Anthropic models, Chase says this can be done in a way that does not break the prompt cache.
