Claude Haiku 5.5 is now available in Claude Platform and Claude Code

Haiku 5.5 is now accessible within the Claude Platform and Claude Code. ClaudeDevs reported that running the model costs approximately 75% less on average than Claude Haiku 4.5.

ClaudeDevs suggested pairing Haiku 5.5 with Opus 5.5 or Sonnet 5.5 to serve as a subagent, recommending it for high-volume, cost-sensitive tasks such as summaries, compactions, and database queries.
