Databricks launches support for Claude Haiku 5.5

Databricks has launched support for Anthropic's [Claude Haiku 5.5](https://dbricks.co/4ycEKtP) as a Day 0 release. According to Databricks, the model achieves approximately 15% higher quality than Haiku 4.5 on its internal OfficeQA Pro V1 benchmark at a fraction of the cost.

Users can run Haiku 5.5 alongside more than 60 other models directly on data stored in Databricks for agentic applications and agents, with Unity Gateway handling governance, monitoring, and security.
