Rohan Varma details first-week updates and roadmap for dots

One week following the launch of dots, Rohan Varma outlined a set of improvements shipped in response to user feedback. The updates include faster cloud browsing, reduced pauses while waiting for replies, faster sidebar loading with smoother animations, and cleaner web code blocks and attachments. Fixes were deployed for redundant mobile notifications during active ChatGPT sessions, enterprise access on the web and during voice initiation, character rendering issues in Safari and Firefox, Outlook setup stalls, and Gmail previews obscuring approval buttons. The update also improves dot thread organization when determining whether to use new or existing Codex threads.

Varma also shared upcoming development priorities, including ongoing voice reliability enhancements and deeper control of the Codex app to manage project folders, retain full thread context, and rename threads. Additional planned features include status visibility into active dot tasks, multi-computer connectivity, and expanded Windows support for local computer control.
